Creative Edge is making headlines
"This is a community plan; it is as successful as the community wants it to be."
Creative Edge is an initiative to gather priorities, expectations, and needs, regarding the arts, culture, and creative economy in Sacramento and the region. The intent through the planning process is to engage the entire community to create a comprehensive vision for our city. The goal is to strengthen cultural vitality through excellent, relevant, and sustainable results that can be implemented in the coming years.
The Creative Edge team would like to thank everyone for participating in the Creative Edge Community Survey. We received over 1000+ survey entries and are working on analyzing and preparing results for the cultural plan.
Throughout the planning process, there has been over 133 in depth interviews and discussion groups, 8 City Council district community forums, and a Community Town Hall that brought over 250 people from the community to CLARA (E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts) to launch the cultural planning process.
